Michele is the Executive Director of Leadership Greater Syracuse, where she oversees the fiscal, fundraising, communications, and programmatic responsibilities of the organization. Michele has deep experience in the nonprofit sector where she has spent most of her career.

Prior to joining Leadership Greater Syracuse in 2023, Michele was the Senior Director of Programs at ProLiteracy, a worldwide adult education organization where she directed all domestic and international initiatives and led efforts for organizational development, DEI, advocacy, fundraising, and community engagement.

A graduate of SUNY Delhi, Michele currently serves on the board of LiteracyCNY, and previously served as the Vice President of the National Coalition for Literacy, where she also still volunteers.

A lifelong Syracusan, Michele’s focus is on doing work that changes lives and positively impacts future generations.
