We believe that wellness is holistic, and our happiest and healthiest selves emerge when we engage in activities that help us feel empowered, inspired, and connected. It's for this reason that we've curated a diverse list of groups, events, and activities in Central New York that can support you on your wellness journey.

1. Sending Love: Celebrating Love, Black Joy, and Unity through Movement BY THRIVE IN HEALING
Join Thrive In Healing on February 18th for "Sending Love: Celebrating Love, Black Joy, and Unity through Movement." Experience heart-opening yoga, metta meditation, music, and community dialogue, exploring relationships with love and Black joy, while celebrating love in all its forms.
2. Monthly Breakthrough event BY CNY Women's Network
Immerse yourself in restorative yoga, followed by transformational breathwork and a supportive women's circle at the Monthly Breakthrough. Presented by the CNY Women's Network, this monthly event at Vyana Yoga in Manlius, NY is designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit, cultivating a deeper connection within yourself.
3. silent book club at Golden Bee Bookshop
Golden Bee Bookshop welcomes introverts to find community in the Liverpool Chapter of Silent Book Club. Experience an hour of silent reading, followed by 30 minutes of optional socializing. It's the perfect haven for book enthusiasts to connect in a cozy, relaxed setting.
4. Safe Space CNY support GROUPS
Safe Space CNY is changing the conversation around mental health by educating, connecting, and supporting individuals through a peer-to-peer network. They offer diverse support groups like Sober & Free, Educator, Teen, Caregiver, LGBTQIA+, Divorce, Disordered Eating/Exercise, Postpartum, Postpartum Partner's, and Men's Support, fostering understanding, connection, and community for individuals facing various challenges in Central New York.
5. Club Pilates Dewitt
Looking to shake up your workout? Try Club Pilates on Erie Blvd East in Dewitt, NY. Whether you've never taken a pilates class or you’re a seasoned pro, there’s a session that caters to you. Expert instructors guide every move, ensuring a challenging yet low-impact workout experience.
6. Spoke Cycle Syracuse
Launching in March 2024, Spoke Cycle Syracuse aims to create an inclusive community and promote body positivity. Their mission centers on empowering individuals to feel confident inside and out while having fun through indoor cycling and other fitness classes.
7. Off The Hook Crochet Club
Off The Hook Crochet Club describes itself as not your granny's knitting circle – a bold Black and Brown fiber artist collective in Syracuse, NY. Led by local artists Syeisha Byrd and Jaleel Campbell, this group meets bi-weekly at Jaleel Campbell Studios, aiming to create a space for Black and brown people to get together and learn to crochet.
8. little yogis and you class by Salt City Holistic Health
Salt City Holistic Health offers "Little Yogis And You," a yoga class for parents and kids. Perfect for all skill levels, this class provides an opportunity for mindfulness and connection through yoga.
9. Heavenly Sound Journey event by Vyana Yoga
rejuvenate at Vyana Yoga's Heavenly Sound Journey event. Experience an alchemy sound bath featuring singing bowls, gongs, harps, and ceremonial resonance instruments. Held on select days, these events inspire a sense of calm, mindfulness, and inner peace.
